Marketing Expert
My name is Anthony Cerrato and I have been working in the marketing industry for 3 years. Since graduating from UCLA in 2017 with a Bachelor’s degree in English, I have gained experience doing Social Media Marketing, Digital Advertising, and Copywriting across several different industries.
My previous work experience as an Emergency Medical Technician and as a Childcare Worker at a Boys Group Home has taught me to be an empathetic person, and I carry my ability to see from many perspectives into my work and collaborations.
Whenever, I am not running some killer campaigns for my clients and employers I like to read, play video games, and run some killer “campaigns” in Dungeons & Dragons with my friends on the weekend.

Who I Am
A Kid With a Dream.
Having grown up listening and playing in jazz combos most of my childhood, my influences include giants such as Miles Davis and Bill Evans. To this day, I still often think a lot about the Miles Davis quote, “Sometimes you have to play a long time to be able to play like yourself”. I believe this is fundamentally true in all aspects of my life, and especially in my career.
Finding my creativity
It has taken me a lot of trial and error to get to where I am now in life. I have not always known that I had a passion for creating and tracking digital campaigns. Who would?
Instead, I found myself spending a lot of time searching for who I was, and what I wanted to do. Though, if there was one thing playing jazz my entire childhood taught me was how to improvise. I believe that there have been no wrong notes in my life, but rather some steps that have molded me into the type of compassionate professional I am today.
What this means
I search for solutions in places that most people wouldn’t think to look because of my experience. I know how to handle pressure at an extreme level (riding in an ambulance will do that to you). I understand how important it is to trust your teammates, and know the power of deescalating a situation. All of these things have given me an immeasurable skill set that is unteachable to another candidate.
